What You Can Do To Help Save Maer Hills

Image Join the Maer Hills Protection Group.
Image Send us your e-mail address so we can contact you quickly with the latest news.
Image Check our website regularly. Read our newsletters and look out for posters and signs to keep up to date with whatÂ’s happening.
Image Volunteer to help in any way. Become an area leader and keep your road, street or avenue informed. Offer to deliver leaflets in your road.
Image Talk to your friends about whatÂ’s going on, write to your councillor, your MP and The Sentinel.
Image Support the fundraising events. Check out the latest events by clicking here.
Image Most important of all, if you want to save Maer Hills for future generations, be prepared to WRITE when a planning application is submitted to Newcastle Borough Council. We will inform you when an application is submitted with the planning application number.

Donations
Membership of the Maer Hills Protection Group is free but we need to raise funds through donations and fundraising to mount an effective campaign against a planning application on this scale.

The funds will be spent on:

Image Producing newsletters and posters.
Image Maintaining a website.
Image Holding public meetings.
Image Producing an authorititive and exhaustive rebuttal of the planning application.
Image Employing independent experts where technical expertise is required.

You can make a donation to the Maer Hills Protection Group with PayPal. Press the button to the left and you can pay through the secure PayPal website. You do not need to have a PayPal account to make a donation.

Alternatively, if you prefer not to use PayPal you can send an email to our treasurer. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it  to send an email, and he will get in contact with you.
